Fordhall farm

Based in North Shropshire, our regenerative farmland has been registered organic with the Soil Association since 2006, and chemical free since the end of the Second World War. The mixed topography and diverse landscape running alongside the River Tern gives us the perfect setting to raise our native breed cattle, sheep and pigs. All meat and produce available for sale through our farm shop in Shropshire and through courier nationwide delivery.

Fordhall’s regenerative farming system has been developed over generations of farming the land. High standards of animal welfare are one of our key principles, and we're very proud of the provenance in the meat we sell. Our beef, lamb and pork come from our animals on our farm and our chickens are from a local farm in Staffordshire. This is how we ensure you know exactly where your meat is from.

We follow a nose-to-tail ethos; a traditional approach that reduces waste, respects the animal, and gives customers access to a wider range of flavourful and often better-value cuts. In September 2025 we were proud to win the Great Taste Golden Fork Award for Sustainability. The judges said that the nose-to-tail butchery of our own carcass along with sustainable protocols across the farm shop such as reduced single-use plastic, green energy, biodegradable packaging and using the very best locally sourced produce for our shop were all important aspects in their decision.

Fordhall Farm shop was born from a desire to make the family farm sustainable, and we sell our own meat alongside carefully chosen local produce. We look forward to giving you a slice of what we have on offer from the comfort of your own home, but remember you are more than welcome to visit us in person too!
